WAG Monthly Meeting
Jeff Jacobs is a teacher and artist based in Bellingham, Washington. He creates bold linocut prints, inspired by local landmarks such as the Whatcom Museum, the Acid Ball and Taylor Dock. Jeff is drawn to strong shapes, contrast, atmosphere, and the feeling of historic landmarks. Each print is hand-carved and printed in small batches.
Jeff also mixes music as DJ Side Quest. He spends much of his time collecting sounds, making playlists, experimenting with samples, and building little audio worlds from music, memory, rhythm, and wandering thoughts. His tracks blend spoken word, ambient textures, late-night energy, philosophical reflections.
We look forward to celebrating Jeff’s visual and musical art at the August 24th WAG General Meeting 7pm at the Whatcom Art Center.
