WAG Monthly Meeting

The special activity for this meeting will be the Art Challenge, “Looking Through a New Lens”.

Have you ever been staring at a tree trunk and after some time you start to see someone’s face in the bark?

Or noticed how traffic lights can look like glowing Christmas lights when you take your glasses off?

Seen shapes in the clouds?

Noticed new details when you squint really hard and look up closely?

Create something to show a subject through a new lens, a different perspective or interpretation. Bring it to this meeting and share your work, and vote for your favorite.

Prizes: 1st – $50, 2nd and 3rd – $25

Meetings take place at the Whatcom Art Center!  Located in Fairhaven, at 1105 11St, Bellingham, WA

Bring art for Artist of the Month competition

There will be a drawing for a $10 gift certificate from Dakota Art Store

The librarians will be there with the WAG DVDs, etc. Please bring any tapes or books you have borrowed in the past.
